The three star Aparthotel Diamant is situated 800 metres from the Cala Agulla beach in the resort of Cala Ratjada on the north east coast of Majorca. The aparthotel is 65 kilometres north east of the capital Palma and the Son Sant Joan International airport and one kilometre from the centre of the resort where there are a selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and renovated during the winter of 1999, the Diamant has a total of 477 guest rooms, including 304 twin rooms at the hotel, 144 one bedroom self catering apartments and 29 junior suites, which are distributed over four floors and set amidst 10,000 square metres of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area. All guest rooms at the aparthotel are equipped with conditioning and central heating, en suite bathroom with shower, telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box (at an extra charge) and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. Apartments at the Diamant also have a kitchenette and a combined lounge/dining room with extra sofa beds. All guest rooms have maid service with a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Facilities at the aparthotel include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, a games room, public internet terminals, laundry services, lounge and pool bars, outdoor freshwater swimming pool with children's section, sun terraces and gardens with loungers and parasols, children's playground, mini club, two clay tennis courts, a mini golf course, pétanque court and pool and table tennis tables. the Diamant also features an indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, gymnasium, sauna and seasonal programme of daytime and evening entertainment.
