The Club Riu Tropicana Hotel is situated directly on the bay of Cala Domingos. It is only some 500 metres from the resort of Cales de Mallorca with all its shops, bars and restaurants.
This Riu hotel is made up of one and two storey buildings set in gardens. The main building is a former windmill and contains the reception, dining room with non-smoking area, lounge bar and mini market. The Tropicana has a pool with sun terrace and children's area and pool bar. There is also a hobby club for children. For guests who enjoy sport, the hotel offers three hard tennis courts, windsurfing, sailing, table tennis, volleyball, mini golf and a shuffle board. The hotel provides daily and evening entertainment.
The Club Riu Tropicana has 371 rooms, which are either in the style of terraced bungalows or one-storey buildings. All rooms have a bathroom, telephone, satellite television, air conditioning, terrace and safety deposit box.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Club Riu Tropicana! The hotel was lovely and I was never bored! The staff were amazing! They were friendly, bubbly and always put on a good show! It truly was my best holiday!
The rooms were great and the pool and beach were fab! I didn't want to leave and had the best experiences ever! I recommend staying there and I will definitely be revisiting it in future!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Club Riu Tropicana! The hotel was lovely and I was never bored! The staff were amazing! They were friendly, bubbly and always put on a good show! It truly was my best holiday!
The rooms were great and the pool and beach were fab! I didn't want to leave and had the best experiences ever! I recommend staying there and I will definitely be revisiting it in future!

We arrived at 9:30 on Tuesday morning and we had to wait for a room for approximately one hour. The walk to the beach was 20 minutes away from the room we were staying in. The food was re cooked the next day. There was no good entertainment and they had to speak in about five different languages before you could understand. Not all the staff know how to speak in English.
The mini bus was frightening to go on because of the landscape. The pool looks bigger in the pictures and not good for your first holiday.

The reps were fab, the food was gorgeous and the entertainment was the best I've ever seen as the reps did it every night from Grease show to cowboy shows. Activities all through the day were great too. The only thing I would say is that you had to walk over rocks to get to the town but it wasn't a long walk and it was fun.
