"Lovely Time At Club de Sol"
Travel date:
August 2008
We stayed at the Club del Sol hotel for one week and could not fault it. The location was good - a five minute bus ride to Alcudia and in the opposite direction, maybe eight minutes to Port de Pollenca. The buses were every 15 minutes and dead on time. However, if you make two trips to and from to the beach and then back into Alcudia or Pollenca in the evening, it can work out to about £3.60 per person per day. There were seven in our party so it could work out a bit expensive. You could walk to Alcudia but on a hot day it feels twice the distance. So if like us, you are beach people, add fares on to your budget.
We stayed in the hotel in the evening only once, although entertainment was provided. Bog standard hotel stuff not worth staying in for and if you want a good drink, the bar was expensive, but then the euro is very bad this year so the whole of Spain seemed dearer. You can upgrade to all inclusive which was worth it and popular, but then you were confined to the resort as there is nothing either way for about a 20 minute walk.
The three pools were very nice and we actually got seven beds with no problems after 11 a.m. They have a strict no towel policy and it actually worked.
The apartments were spacious and very clean with friendly staff. We would return again but if you like very close amenities, this may not be the place for you. But if, like us, you like a quieter location with easy access to two towns, this is an ideal place. Don't forget the price difference for such a place tucked out of the way can make a difference of a couple of hundred pound less then closer accommodation. All in all a good holiday experience.

"Club del Sol Aparthotel Was Wicked"
Travel date:
May 2005
Me and my family visited Club Del Sol in the May half term.
My mum and dad enjoyed the relaxing days by the swimming pool and me and my sister enjoyed the swimming pool too.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The food was very good and there was a good selection. The days out were enjoyable and I would recommend the Pirates. The night shows were good and would keep younger children and parents occupied but not teenagers as me and my friends didn't watch them all the time.
I would recommend the hotel to families and couples. There were lots of families and children/teenagers and kids would make friends easily. Overall me and my family would go back next year.

"Club del Sol - Fantastic"
Travel date:
August 2004
We thought the complex was absolutely fabulous. Enough for the children, without being noisy, a choice of two pools, bar food ideal for lunch, restaurant great for breakfast. Our balcony view across the bay was breathtaking. Nearby Jules Bar a must for an evening meal, staff were so friendly and attentive.
Puerto Pollensa itself was not within walking distance in the heat, but the buses were frequent enough and a vist to the Pine Walks area for an evening stroll and meal is highly recommended. We'll definately return.
