The Sis Pins Hotel is positioned near the centre of the resort and opposite the central beach of Puerto de Pollensa. It is screened by pine trees which gave the Sis Pins its name.

The reception areas are traditional in style and decorated with original paintings and antiques. During cooler spring and autumn evenings, there is fireplace. The Sis Pins has a private, enclosed sunbathing terrace on the seafront and a further terrace situated on the 'Pine Walk' has an arched patio area. During the day, the hotel offers a snack menu and in the evenings, a variety of traditional Mallorcan dishes is on offer. Guests can chose to dine in the restaurant, on the 'Pine Walk' terrace or, for a more romantic setting, at the water's edge on the sun terrace. Other hotel facilities include a television lounge, bar, hot buffet breakfast, lift and ice machine for guests' use.

The hotel's 51 bedrooms all have a bathroom and feature in-room air-conditioning, central heating, television, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, safety deposit box and hair dryer. There are several room types, including standard rooms which are located at the side of the hotel; standard rooms with a balcony which are at the back overlooking the Formentor Road and in the interior of the hotel overlooking the courtyard and patio; interior rooms with a patio with a sun bathing area with tables, chairs, parasols and loungers and balcony rooms which enjoy views of Puerto de Pollensa. There are also four 'Gran Terraza' rooms, each equipped with table, chairs, parasol and loungers. Their terraces look out onto views of the Pollensa Bay. All bedrooms are non-smoking.

Review title: "Wonderful Holiday"
Travel date: May 2009
We have just returned from the Sis Pins in Puerto Pollensa. This is a delightful hotel, maybe not everyone's taste but I loved it. Staff were all so helpful and friendly. Rooms were extremely clean.

They do a great deal on dinner for residents only. 17 euros per person for anything on the a la carte menu, including a drink - wine, beer, water etc. Can't get better than that.

I would like to book a front room when I go back as the view is beautiful. I certainly will be back.

Review title: "Sis Pins Hotel, Small And Friendly"
Travel date: September 2008
My type of holiday, nice and quiet and staying at the Sis Pins was a delight although it's not for the young families with young children, as there is no pool or entertainment which to be honest suits me fine as I'm now getting past that stage of my life.

My wife and I will certainly be back next year and are looking forward to it very much and will hopefully meet up with some of the friends we made this year.

Review title: "Sis Pins - Beware"
Travel date: October 2007
The Sis Pins was a lovely hotel but seriously disappointed at paying extra money for a balcony to discover it was anything but. It held an extremely small round table and two chairs either side which to sit on the far away chair involved either moving the furniture or walking round on tip toes. Other than that the room was large and clean.

The hotel was good, food excellent and position brilliant. Highly recommend - just don't waste your extra cash. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the sunshine.

Review title: "Quaint Hotel In Nice Resort"
Travel date: June 2007
Our stay at Sis Pins was most relaxing. First impressions of hotel are that it is quite old fashioned and the rooms dated. However, after you have unpacked and found your bearings I'm sure you will enjoy it. Rooms are kept very clean and air conditioning is controlled by remote control (ask how to use this).

If there is one criticism it is of the clientèle who can be quite stand-offish. You know the type - 'we have been here X amount of times and are practically locals. Not very friendly at all. The difference was that the locals were friendly! We were maybe just unlucky with our co-holidaymakers!

The food could not be faulted and guests can choose from a three course menu in the evening for the discounted price of 17 euros each, including a glass of wine/beer.

Location is excellent and an early morning/late afternoon swim is very enjoyable.

We had a side room with practically no real view but I would not advise anyone to pay the extra for a sea view with balcony. Overpriced in my mind. You are not in the room long anyway and if you are is will probably be to have a siesta!

It is not a five star hotel but does not pretend to be but is a refreshing change from the usual Mediterranean hotels.

Review title: "Wonderful Charming Hotel"
Travel date: August 2006
Wonderful, charming hotel in an excellent location. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Unlike other guests, I do believe the upgrade to a sea view is worth it. If you like to throw open your shutters to a wonderful sunrise and like to kick back and watch the world stroll by, then it's worth every penny.

Food great value and private terrace with shower is kept spotless. You can even have your jug of sangria delivered by one of the friendly and competent staff. Five stars all round from me. Will definitely be back to the Sis Pins.

Review title: "Fantastic Sis Pins!"
Travel date: August 2006
My goodness! What a fantastic holiday. The hotel could not have been better. So clean and friendly. We were unfortunate that we had only booked last minute and couldn't get a sea view, but we will know better for next year. I can't wait to go back.

This hotel is so ideally located for anything you could wish to do in Puerto Pollensa. All the staff were friendly and eager to help if required without being in your face and overly attentive. Can't wait to go back next year. Enjoy your holiday. It will be the best!

Review title: "I Loved The Sis Pins - It Was Absolutely Amazing!"
Travel date: July 2006
I love this hotel and me and my family are hoping to come down there this year in the summer. I cannot wait - the Sis Pins hotel is amazing! I love it and the service was great! The food was amazing and the beach was so lovely. I think the owners will have a wonderful life owning that hotel - it is fabulous, well done!

Well, I hope the hotel liked my positive comments. Also the designs are beautiful and the way they treat the people is very calm and sweet. They are very patient. I think that the whole thing is gorgeous!

Review title: "Time To Relax"
Travel date: July 2004
This is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. From the reception staff to the waiters and housemaids, everyone has time for you. I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and each time the experience just gets better.

This year I have booked to stay again and although I always opt for the front facing rooms with seaview, have upgraded to the 'Grand Terrace' with seaview. Just can't wait. See you July 2005.

Should we be sharing this secret place with so many?!!!
