"Pollensa Park - I would Go Back Tomorrow"

What can I say about the Pollensa Park that's not already been said? I do agree the beds were uncomfortable but I have slept in worse. They were clean and so was the rest of the hotel. The food at the hotel I could not fault - great choice and plenty of it. The gardens are good for sunbathing in - lots of shade if you need it.
The beach is in walking distance, as is the the little harbour and the more up market shops. If you are looking for a nice friendly bar, then go to the one in between the two supermarkets. John makes a great sangria but ladies beware, it's a sports bar so bring a book if you are not into football.
Only thing I hated was the hour long coach drive from Palma. But now I have done it, I would go back again and put up with the coach.

"Pollensa Park Hotel"

II have been coming to Puerto Pollensa for the last three years nearly and have stayed at the Pollensa Park hotel every time. I think that the service from all staff is exceptional and they always put your needs first.
There is a separate entrance to the dining hall, if you have a disability. The food at the hotel is great, with plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meal. There is always someone on hand if you need any help 24 hours a day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with children or even the young at heart. You won't be disappointed.

Arrived with trepidation at this hotel, but all our fears were soon allayed. Staff very helpful and friendly, pool great, food even better. Great choice for breakfast and dinner and very efficient staff in the dining room. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday, and we are returning again this year with our daughter and grand daughter, hoping for another relaxing holiday spent there. Can definitely recommend the Pollensa Park for families of all ages.

"Hotel Pollensa Park Is Not Great"
Travel date:
August 2007
Having just returned from this hotel, I thought I would let people know a true representation of it! The room was OK, the cleaners kept it immaculate, however the beds are so hard we may as well have been sleeping on the floor for a fortnight and didn't sleep a wink for the entire two weeks.
Take a travel kettle too as there are no drink making facilities in the rooms.
Be prepared for a run to reserve your sun bed with a towel at 9 a.m. prompt, although the hotel forbids the reservation of sun loungers and there are signs everywhere stating that the management reserve the right to remove towels on unoccupied reserved beds. They never actually adhere to their own rules. So if you have children who are up late due to the entertainment the night before, you have no chance of a lounger and would be better off heading for the beach.
This problem is made worse by the fact that the local apartments nearby also seemed to be hogging the hotel facilities. There was hardly any time where there appeared to be a life guard on duty.
Entertainment was cheesy but great - the usual Elvis tribute, Robbie Williams, some acrobats, River Dance and Mamma Mia, were all excellent. That said, the main entertainment didn't start until 10 p.m. which is OK if you have older children but not so good if you have a very tired six year old. Also not good if you fancy an early night as its very loud and can be heard throughout the entire hotel.
The hotel restaurant offered a phenomenal choice for breakfast, the staff are all helpful and friendly. The evening meals too are varied, all self service, however, more often than not, cold by the time you get back to your table. A bit disappointing. The staff can be a little over eager to clear plates too and I felt like I was being rushed at all mealtimes.
The bar staff in the hotel and by the pool are a very grumpy bunch, not surprising when they seem to be working from about 10 a.m. until closing time at night. I didn't notice any different staff for the whole two weeks I was there. They must be overdosing on caffeine to be able to function the way they do. However, if the hotel gave them a bit of time off, they might have a better attitude towards the guests.
All that said, the hotel is almost perfectly situated, a five minute walk to the beach, near enough for a couple of restaurants when the food is awful at the hotel and also a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant/bars. I would recommend 'Tiberi', the best eatery in Puerto Pollensa by far!

"A Nice Surprise"

The hotel was a nice surprise; the bedrooms had been refurbished and were lovely. Nice and clean and bright. The food was fine, plenty of choice on the buffet. Staff were efficient in the restaurant. Pool was lovely although it was almost impossible to get a sun bed as towels were on them but no bodies to be seen.
Puerto Pollensa is a lovely clean area with nice bars. A lovely place to eat, drink, relax and watch the world go by. The beach is lovely.

"Pollensa Park Hotel Is Great"
Travel date:
May 2005
I have just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel. Our group went to Mallorca to bird watch, so we weren't too bothered about the standard of the hotel, as long as we had a clean room and shower and reasonable food.
However the Pollensa Park was a revelation - the rooms were refurbished and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent considering that it was served buffet style - a good choice of meat and fish every night with fantastic salads and deserts. The breakfasts were something else - every possible choice you could ever wish to have - cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cooked breakfasts, cold meats and cheese, cakes, rolls etc etc. We were very impressed.
The bars, restaurants and entertainment are good and the swimming pool enormous, but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are all ultra friendly and helpful, if you have a problem they do their best to help. The hotel was so good and the resort so nice that some of us intrepid bird watchers had a day off so we could enjoy the hotel and Puerto Pollensa itself.
I can highly recommend this hotel and resort if you want a relaxing holiday in a laidback resort that does not attract unsavoury elements. There are a few noisy bars at one side of the hotel but if you ask for a quiet room you can listen to owls and nightingales at night instead of karaoke.

"Excellent Holiday"

We have been going to the Pollensa Park Hotel for the past six years in August, firstly with the children and now just the two of us. We keep going back because of the good food and friendly family atmosphere.
Rooms are bright and modern and the air conditioning is good. Entertainment finishes at midnight so you can get a good nights sleep before a hard day on the beach or round the pool.
The pool area is always clean considering the number of people using it. Hotel policy is no reserving beds......but at 7.30 there is always a little troupe of mothers and fathers putting towels on the beds in prime spots. I do think more umbrellas might solve this problem as the pool area is a sun trap. All together it is an excellent hotel and good value for money. We are going again late August 2005

I went last year, and the year before and I am actually going again. It was great. Well worth the money. Food was great. There is great nightlife as well. The beach is only 500 metres away and what a beach that is.
