This was the worst ever hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are not equipped properly if you go self catering. We had no cups, one plate, one fork and no kettle to start with. The fridge was dirty and leaking. The toilet was leaking and the shower curtain was too small so water went everywhere. There was mould in the bathroom. The mattresses have springs coming through and urine stains on them. Electric sockets did not work and many more things to tell.

There was one night that was really bad - a terrible smell inside the room and out on the balcony. When I told the rep, she said they use sewage water to water the plants with.

Nikos was helpful, but we only saw him from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. There was one woman who was really rude to us and couldn't have cared less whether we stayed or left.

You would have a better holiday camping than in that hotel. The worst hotel ever. 13 other people were complaining also.

This was one of the best holidays I and my family have had. Having only travelled to Greece a couple of times before, choosing Rhodes was a last minute decision and it turned out to be a most enjoyable one.

The Thalia hotel was basic but clean, the staff were very approachable and the food at the poolside bar was enjoyable.
We met some lovely people and had some great laughs with Theo the barman.

The hotel is ideally placed for the main street in Pefkos which is just a five minute stroll away.

All in all I and my family had a great time and we are returning in July this year, with friends. In actual fact, there will be 12 of us going, so get your cocktail making skills polished up Theo!

Myself and two of my friends holidayed in Pefkos. What a fabulous place. We had an exceptional time, only made better by the wonderful Hotel Thalia where we stayed. The family that owns the hotel are superb. They are friendly, helpful and always there to make your holiday enjoyable. Theo and Nikos are especially friendly and would brighten up anybody's day. Theo is the life and soul of the party but is also very caring and considerate. The hotel bar is opened by Michael in the morning even following a heavy one at the Greek night and Theo closes it whenever you are ready for bed. The Greek night is amazing. You can join in or just sit back and take in the wonderful dancing demonstrated by the dancers and the family. The whole place has a friendly and welcoming environment at all times to people of all ages.
