The two key El Porton Apartments are located high up in the Calahonda area of Mijas Costa on the Costa del Sol with views of the Mediterranean.

The El Porton complex offers 200 apartments overlooking a central swimming pool. Every apartment has a washing machine, satellite television, microwave, hair dryer, ironing board with iron, bathroom, air conditioning, central heating, kitchenette and balcony or terrace. Apartments consist of either one bedroom (to sleep four) two bedrooms and two bathrooms (to sleep six) and three bedrooms and two bathrooms (to sleep eight).

In addition to the swimming pool, the apartments feature children's pool and a car park. Guests are able to use the facilities at Club Marbella which also serves as El Porton's reception. Club Marbella boasts a spa and leisure centre with heated indoor pool, hydrospa, saunas, fitness area, hair and beauty salon, squash court, heated outdoor pool, children's pool, sun terrace, pool bar (summer only), boules, petanque, children's club (high season only) offering supervised activities and events for ages five to 12, children's play area, games room with three pool tables and a playstation, internet lounge, 'Café Marbella' bar and restaurant, mini-market, 24 hour reception and a programme of activities for day and night.
