We have recently stayed at the Serena Sol Apartments in Cala d'Or. The apartments are quite large inside with basic furnishings. The cleaners were of a good standard too.

The apartments are actually at Cala Ferrera just across the beach from the centre of Cala d'Or, approximately a 15 minute walk. The beach is a ten minute walk away. The apartments have seven swimming pools scattered around that guests can use and the one at the Cala Ferrera Hotel is massive and lovely but unheated. We only found three of the seven pools. The weather was rather dreadful when we went in October 2007 and we lived through a four day hurricane and the sun hardly shone at all which was really frustrating. I would recommend these apartments to couples and families.
