The Parque Mar Apartments in Cala d'Or are situated close to the beach, which can be reached by steps. It is only 600 metres to two other sandy bays and one kilometre to the resort centre.
The apartment complex is built in the Spanish style of several two storied apartment blocks, situated amongst gardens. The Parque Mar complex has a main building, which contains the restaurant offering a buffet breakfast, snack bar, luggage room and money exchange. The complex also has a swimming pool and a seawater pool, both with sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols. There is a pool bar, tennis court, garage and car park, children's playground and a programme of entertainment for children aged from four to 12. There is daily entertainment for all ages and evening entertainment and shows three times a week.
All the apartments have a kitchen, telephone, satellite television (for an extra charge), central heating, safety deposit box, bathroom and balcony or terrace. Towels are changed four times a week, apartments are cleaned twice a week and bedding is also changed twice a week.
Board basis available at these apartments is self catering, bed and breakfast or half board.

I have been to Parque Mar for the last three years and everytime I have gone I have had great fun there. All the people are really nice and I have been able to make friends with Dutch and German people over the last few years who I see the next time I visit.
The activities that are provided for children are both for the older and younger children. Myself, only being 16 years old have taken part in these but what is also great is that the activites like water polo and volley ball also let the parents get involved, which makes a game of water polo much more fun.
As the apartments are on the water front, you are able to go into the sea and swim. Even though it is only two key, I feel that it deserves much more as the facilities and apartments are great and the people that work there are so nice I can't wait till I go back there!
