The two key Apartments Rocas Rojas are situated a five to ten minutes walk from the beach in San Agustin on the south east coast of Gran Canaria. The development of Rocas Rojas was started in the late 1960s as a recreation and rehabilitation centre for members of an association of Swedish Employers. Nowadays less than a third of the apartments are owned by companies.

The accommodation, at the Rocas Rojas complex, comprises 393 one and two bedroom apartments, in two storey bungalow type buildings, each having a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a balcony or terrace.

The facilities, at the apartments, include a restaurant, a bar, a mini market, shops, reception open from 08.00 hours to midnight, laundrette, internet corner, three adults' swimming pools and three children's pools, tennis courts and an 18 hole putting green.
