The four star Parador de Cardona is located on a hill top with views over 40 kilometres. It is located on a headland in a fortified ninth century enclosure in which there is also an 11th century church. It is one kilometre from the centre of Cardona and 110 kilometres from Barcelona airport.

Some of this parador's 54 rooms feature medieval furniture and all have air conditioning, central heating, mini bar, satellite television, bathroom, hair dryer and telephone.
