The four star Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo is situated in the historical and artistic centre of the city, surrounded by the defensive wall dating back to medieval times, which begins and ends at the Enrique II de Trastamara castle, with an approximate length of two kilometres. It has views of the River Agueda.

This parador offers 27 rooms, all with a bathroom, air conditioning, central heating, mini bar, satellite television, hair dryer and telephone. There is one circular junior suite which is decorated as a monastery cell. The rest are all different and four have a balcony facing the gardens and the River Agueda.
