The four star Parador de Santillana Hotel is located in Santillana del Mar's main plaza, in which the city´s most characteristic buildings are also located: Torre de Don Borja, Casa del Águila y la Parra, Torre de Merino and the town hall. It is just three kilometres from the Altamira caves.

The newly built manor house conserves the typical architecture of the area and the parador offers 28 rooms, all with safety deposit box, central heating, mini bar, satellite television, radio, hair dryer, telephone and television.
