The four star Parador de Santillana Gil Blas Hotel is located in Santillana del Mar's main plaza, in which the city´s most characteristic buildings are also located: Torre de Don Borja, Casa del Águila y la Parra, Torre de Merino and the town hall. It is just three kilometres from the Altamira caves. The parador is installed in the Barreda-Bracho ancestral home.

The parador has 28 rooms, (three of them suites), all with air conditioning, central heating, mini bar, satellite television, radio, hair dryer, telephone and television.
