"Good Value For Money"
Travel date:
April 2008
Took my husband for his 40th birthday and stayed two nights. After booking the hotel, I read reviews and felt a little apprehensive about what to expect, as some of the reviews indicated this hotel was more for the young ones. However we were actually the youngest there as it was Spanish pensioner weekend.
At first we were given a basement room which was not really suitable. It was very noisy as the restaurant was above and everyone seemed to scrape their chairs on the floor at the same time! After having a word with the English receptionist, who I must point out was very efficient in dealing with our complaint, we were given another room on the first floor.
All in all we had a great weekend, the Vistanova was fine, the food was really good and hotel situated in a perfect area for night life etc.

"Vistanova - Watch Out For The Cleaners"
Travel date:
September 2007
For the duration of the holiday we were very happy with the hotel until the final day when we accidentally left our digital camera with all our holiday photos on in our room (due to the cleaning stuff rushing us to vacate the room even though we still had half an hour to check out!). Once we realised we had left it in the room about an hour after we'd checked out, we asked to go check our room but they refused to let us and also refused to check the cleaning store to see if it had been found. They told us to ring the next week when the cleaning manager was back in and enquire about the camera. When we rang the following week the cleaning manager told us they had found our camera and would post it to us (we were delighted and offered to pay them money for helping us in this situation as we were devastated about having no photos).
We received a package from the hotel which included a metal spoon from their restaurant (we recognised it and it was also a Spanish make). We rang the cleaning manager and she insisted that she sent the camera to us and flatly refused to write a letter detailing the report of a lost camera (for insurance purposes) and refused to claim insurance for the post her end. We asked to speak to the hotel manager and were told he would call us back which he never did.
It is a shame because the hotel was decent and some of the staff were very nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Palma Nova/Magaluf, however, we would not stay at this hotel again. If you stay here then do not leave any belongs out in the room or by accident when they rush you to leave the room! Despite them promising to post your item, you will receive a piece of cutlery from their restaurant!

"Vistanova Pleasant Surprise"
Travel date:
August 2007
Was quite concerned after reading reviews that said this hotel was a young and lively hotel and we have two small children. However, yes, there were a lot of young people and lots of noise, but they didn't bother us or the children and after a day out and about with the kids, we all slept really well at night!
Didn't really eat in the hotel as spent most of our time on the beach and then finding child friendly restaurants in the evenings.
Rooms were kept clean and tidy and we found that if we wanted to sunbathe by the pool, we always got the best spots as the teenagers had been out all night and were not up until the afternoon!
We met a few other families who were staying in the Vistanova and we were all having a good time and started to spend a lot of our time together. For a hotel with a great location and good prices, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Great Location"
Travel date:
May 2007
Just back from ten days at Vistanova - me, my cousin (both 40 something) and our two daughters nine and ten. Hotel was in a great location if you are there to party all night - our room overlooked Magaluf's main street and it was noisy 24 hours a day.
Staff friendly, food nice but nothing to amuse children. Would go back without children.

Just back from staying in the Vistanova. Was a top quality hotel and I will go back again. Was a good location to the bars and clubs. Just a pity missed Pirate Show as it was cancelled due to thunderstorm!

"Can't Wait To Go Again"

Had the best holiday ever at Vistanova. Hotel was clean and friendly. We had a room for three girls. The room was clean and more than enough room for all of us. We thought the hotel was a young and lively hotel but there were kids and older people, but everybody was friendly, so no problems.
Food was nice, nothing to complain about. Vistanova is right in the centre of all pubs and clubs. It can get noisy but it doesn't bother you if you are out all night anyway. Had the greatest time and met some great people. Great hotel for party lovers! Can't wait to go back next year.

"Not As Good As It Was!"

This was our third time at the Vistanova and it was a big disappointment compared to the previous occasions we had been! The hotel has changed to an all inclusive one and in our opinion standards have fallen both in the quality of food served and choice and it seems to have lost a little of the personal touch where the staff are concerned. They seem not to have time to chat as they were always very busy serving the huge posse of kids wanting the free drinks and ice creams. In previous years under 16s were not allowed.
A shame for couples wanting a fairly quiet holiday but great for families with kids, as it is in such a good location.

"Coming Again To Vistanova"

Once again we are coming to the Vistanova Hotel. We have been twice before and are looking forward to this next visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food could be better but adequate.
I like the location next to the beach. We had both a sea view and a pool view so it doesn't matter this time which we get. You get the best of both worlds being in between Palmanova and Magaluf.
