The four star Apollonia Beach Hotel is situated by the beach in Amoudara, some 6 kilometres west of Heraklion on the north coast of Crete, and about 11 kilometres west of Heraklion Airport.

The accommodation, at the Apollonia Beach, comprises 144 rooms, 57 family rooms, 82 superior bungalows, 52 standard bungalows, 25 single rooms, 2 presidential suites, and 10 rooms adapted for disabled guests, each unit having a bathroom, with hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace, and being equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, satellite television, a telephone, a fridge and a safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the Hotel, include 4 restaurants, a cocktail bar, a beach bar, a cafeteria, a disco, reception, laundry service, shops, a supermarket, internet Wi-fi access and 5 conference rooms for up to 300 delegates. The Hotel also two swimming pools, sun beds and parasols, a pool snack bar, a children's paddling pool and playground, tennis courts and a Spa, offering various baths and treatments, with a hairdresser and indoor pool. Various water sports are available on the beach.

Some facilities may be subject to a local charge.

The Hotel is open from March until November.
