The disabled facilities were OK but the lifts were small. Take your footrests off and you will just get a wheelchair in.

The meals were very good except for one night when the meat was as tough as old boots. All things considered it was a good holiday and I would personally recomend the Hotel Rey Don Jaime.

We visited this hotel over Easter as a short break. It was booked with Monarch and was a very reasonable price.

The hotel itself was clean. The rooms were comfortable and the facilities good. I couldn't work the air conditioning; however, this didn't matter as the weather was poor.

It was predominately the Spanish who were at the hotel this time of year and I was impressed that they offered different food choices to cater for different tastes. The food was good 'hotel food', however the dining room was very busy at meal times.

The entertainment was fair, but it will always be difficult catering for different nationalities but we enjoyed what we saw. Overall it was a good experience and I would visit again.

Only one minus - there was no kettle in the room.

Review title: "Rey Don Jamie - An Amazing Hotel"
Travel date: August 2006
This is my sixth year back at this absolutely amazing hotel. Every member of staff is really great. Food is amazing with a buffet on every night and in the morning for breakfast. The entertainment staff were amazing this year. We had a total of six entertainers and they were all amazing.

This hotel should really be a five star rating. It has its repeat holiday makers, including myself and some other people that we always meet while we are on holiday.

All booked up for 2007 and I can't wait to go back and see some of the amazing members of staff that we always see on the duration of your stay. Even new members of staff. I am going back for my seventh year running to this amazing hotel. Would recommend it to anyone young and old alike. No amount of words can describe how amazing the hotel is. You need to see for yourself!

We have been to the Rey Don Jaime in Santa Ponsa, Majorca for a third time and we will be returning again in 2008. A lovely friendly hotel situated in a great location. It must be good if we are returning for a fourth time!

Fantastic, as the others have stated.....food, entertainment, food, location, food, cleanliness....did I mention the food? Only met one other family that hadn't been there a number of times before.....we will certainly go back. I recommend that you hire a fridge as the cost is saved over the first few days and its great to get cold drinks in the night and chocolate that isn't melting as you eat it.

Review title: "Our Fantastic Week At The Rey Don Jaime"
Travel date: June 2005
I have stayed at this hotel three times before. This year was my fourth time and I plan to return again next year. Great hotel, great location with plenty of Irish bars for a great night out. The hotel food is very good with plenty of choice for everyone. Cleanliness very good and staff very friendly and only to pleased to help.

The resort itself is clean and the beach beautiful. Could not fault the weather, warm sunshine every day, the evenings could be a little on the cool side but that was very welcome after the heat of the day. Had a fabulous week in Santa Ponsa with our evening entertainment being mostly the Irish bars, we had a great time.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, no matter the age group. Go please, you'll love it.

We loved the Rey Don Jamie Hotel so much we are going back this year. This is the first time we have ever returned to a hotel. The staff were great, food wonderful and a great location.

Only thing I could fault it on is not great views from some of the rooms. But we loved it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Last year my wife and I only went for one week. This year we are going for two. The hotel is superb, the staff are fantastic and the location is perfect. The beach is five minutes walk away, the shops are the same distance.

Hotel entertainment is first class and if the beautiful Natalia Morales is still there, she will make you very welcome.

We first stayed in Santa Ponsa last year. Friends of ours moved there and bought a bar come restaurant called 'Teasers'. You will be very welcome to call in for a drink and a snack. Tich and Irene who run it are from Scotland so you have fun with them.

Review title: "The Greatest Hotel In Santa Ponsa"
Travel date: June 2004
This, in my opinion, is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we have been going to Santa Ponsa now for eight years. At first we tried others, then four years ago we got this one on a great deal and we have been going there ever since. We usually go twice a year, June and October, and the standard never changes. The staff and management are friendly and polite and love to have a joke or two. One year when we went there was a one day strike of Spanish hotel workers, but we didn't notice as the management made sure we were still looked after, and even cooked breakfast and evening meal. And when the eco tax was on for a couple of years they paid that to the government for us. The entertainment is some of the best we have had in hotels and the big lounge area and late night pub (as they have named their late night bar lounge)make for a pleasant time spent in the hotel. The pool area is big and there are plenty of sunbeds. All in all I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

These opinions are those of HotelStreet visitors and not of HotelStreet.
