The four star Blue Horizon Hotel is located on the beach of Ialyssos, eight kilometres from Rhodes town and 500 metres from the resort centre.
All the hotel's rooms and bungalows are air-conditioned from June 1st until September 30th. Air conditioning is regulated independently from each room. All rooms are equipped with a marble bathroom, colour satellite television, radio, telephone, bathroom, hair-dryer, fridge, safety deposit box and a view of the Aegean sea or tropical garden.
Facilities at the Blue Horizon include a breakfast buffet, swimming pool, sun terrace, programme of daytime and evening entertainment, the 'Surfers' snack bar, tennis court, restaurant and bar.

The Blue Horizon may be a bit dated but it is clean and the staff very friendly. I would not hesitate to return. The food is fine, catering more for the German market, but my granddaughter who is a very fussy eater had plates full of food every day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds are beautifully kept and the palm trees leading down to the beach are stunning.
The bathrooms have a bath as well as a shower and I was most surprised to find a bidet, the first time we have had one in any Greek hotel. Beach towels are provided so no need to pack your own. On any past holidays I have never had a decent mirror or lighting when trying to apply my make up but the mirror in the bathroom was super. In fact, I can't find one thing to moan about. My daughter and her partner feel the same and we all hope to return next year.
