"A Pleasant Stay At The Sol Alcudia Center"
Travel date:
September 2007
Just back from a weeks holiday at the Sol Alcudia Center. A very nice hotel with only one small fault - we had a room at the front of the hotel where at night [or rather, the early hours of the morning, 4 a.m.], we were woken by people coming home from bars which was annoying considering the fact we were travelling with our one year old. After speaking to staff at reception this problem was solved with them changing our room to one with a pool view which meant we had no noise and we had a pleasant view from our balcony.
As for the hotel's name it speaks for itself. This hotel is very central to everything - restaurants, shops, bars etc. We have booked to come back and stay here next September 2008 as with travelling with our toddler our apartment was very well equipped, the kid's pool was great for children and in general we all really enjoyed Alcudia itself.

"Had A Fanastic Time"
Travel date:
June 2007
We have just got back from ten days at the Sol Alcuida Center and we really enjoyed it. Don t be put off from going by the review from October 2005 - a lot has changed since they visited. It is clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic. It was our first holiday with our toddler and she adored it. The pool was nice, although you have to get up bang on nine to get a decent sun bed position. The pools were a good size and did have a life guard on duty.
The hotel was right in the middle of the street and it was very close to the beach too.
All in all, the resort of Alcudia was great and I would recommend the Sol Alcudia to stay in. Its not as if holidays are for spending in the hotel room, so as long as they are clean and quiet on a night- this hotel ticks both of those boxes.

"Sol Alcudia Center Aparthotel Is Filthy"
Travel date:
October 2005
Went to Sol Alcudia Center Aparthotel on the 6/10/05. Didn't even unpack suitcases as the rooms were absolutely filthy. The bath was disgusting. The sides of the bath had flaked off and when you filled the bath up with water, there were more pieces of the bath that flaked off. The kitchen I wouldn't have cooked in it at all. The cooker and fridge were disgusting, there was mould in the cupboards and crockery and plates were dirty.
The bedding in the bedroom was damp and smelled. I wouldn't put the spare blankets in my dog's bed, that is how bad they were. The maid come in and was supposed to be cleaning the room for us and all she did was a quick sweep in the lounge, changed the sheet on the sofa bed and then she put a dirty sheet on top of the clean sheet for a cover.
The swimming pool area was also dirty. They had a green runner mat all the way around the pool which was absolutely black. I wouldn't have let my children walk on it without sandals on.
All in all we only spent 45 minutes at this filthy, disgusting, hell hole of a hotel. It was long enough. We were moved to the Sol Cala D'Or Apartments in Mallorca which I would thoroughly recommend. The apartments were spotless, a palace compared to what Sol Alcudia Center was offering. The complex itself was fantastic I would give them 11/10 but wouldn't even bother to give Sol Alcudia Center a 0. For that hotel to be a three star is really shocking so I would advise people not even to go there unless you're on a holiday from hell.

"Sol Acludia Centre Is Great"
Travel date:
July 2004
Stayed there last July and had a brilliant time, so much that we are going back this August. Hotel is near everything from the beach, entertainment and places to eat. The only fault we found was with the big swimming pool that was the one depth.
