The two key Sonora Golf Bungalows are situated 200 metres from the centre of Maspalomas with the Faro II shopping centre, bars and restaurants. They are two kilometres from the beach of Maspalomas but the complex runs a free bus shuttle service several times a day. They are also two kilometres from the centre of Playa del Ingles.
Opened in 1987 and renovated in 2004, this bungalow complex is surrounded by gardens and comprises a total of 140 bungalows, all with a bathroom, a combined living room/bedroom, separate bedroom, telephone, satellite television (for an additional fee), safety deposit box (for an additional fee), kitchenette, air conditioning and a terrace.
Facilities at the Sonora Golf complex include a foyer with a 24-hour reception, restaurant, bar, café, public internet terminal (for an additional fee), children's playground, children's club (for children aged from four to 12 years old), car park, two swimming pools with a children's area, poolside snack bar, sun terrace with parasols and sun loungers, a gym, table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and pool tables. There is also an entertainment programme for adults and children during the day and evening.
Board basis available at these bungalows is self catering, bed and breakfast, half board, full board or all inclusive.

This holiday was actually amazing! I loved every minute of it. I was with my mum and sister, everyone loved it.
There is a nearby international pub called 'Moonlight' where there are the friendliest people I have ever met on a holiday ! It was so good, we're going back in a December just to enjoy the holiday all over again.
The resort had a very friendly atmosphere and the poolside was hardly that busy so you could move to other places to keep within the sun! The pool was very clean, actually so was the whole place! The restaurant and bar were filled with friendly staff who would help you carry things to your table if necessary!
I wasn't too keen on the beach but I hardly ever am. It was very hot and sand was too dry in my opinion. It was lovely weather and I'm very pleased with the outcome of my holiday
I would recommend Sonora Golf to anyone really. There is a lot going on for people of all ages.
