Ideally situated in the middle of the resort and just a two minute walk to the superb beach. The 'British' area is a five minute walk to the right and the beautiful cosmopolitan port is a ten or so minute walk to the left.

The rooms are spacious but could do with a little modernising.

All areas of the hotel are kept spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The evening entertainment takes place in an indoor smoking area - hardly the embodiment of 'healthy' or 'pleasant' for families with children or non smokers. Most evenings the entertainment lacks imagination and with games such as pop the balloon, bingo and pass the spoon it can best be described as a trip back to the dark ages with a slight 'working men's club' atmosphere.

All in all the Alcudia Beach hotel represents good value for money but if a more refined form of entertainment is your thing in the evenings, then the evenings will be best spent out and about in the resort and not at the hotel.

Amend the smoking policy and improve on the evening entertainment and this really would represent excellent value for money.

Where do I start? First of all, Alcudia Beach Aparthotel is 10 out of 10 for me and my family. We have been there four years in a row and are soon to be booking our next holiday and of course we are staying at Alcudia Beach Aparthotel yet again.

The rooms are really nice and tidy and kept really clean, the pool is lovely and there are always sunbeds free so everyone gets to have a lay down!

It the perfect place for familes as well as couples. I'm only 16 but when I'm old enough to go away with my boyfriend, this is the plase I will want to go.

The night entertainment is brilliant and it for all ages. My favourite is karaoke. The staff are brilliant and very, very friendly. They even remembered us from the times before and sent a bottle of champange to our room. Talk about well looked after. Its the best holiday I have ever been on and wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!!! See for yourself - book up and go!!!!!!!!

Since visiting Alcudia Beach apartments, we have tried many other places. Unfortunately none have been as good. Hotel was extra clean, staff very friendly and on the door step to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be going back there next year. Nothing we have tried can beat it

My husband and I took our children to Alcudia for our first family holiday, and it was superb. We went when it was unusually hot in June that year, but it didn't put us off!

The staff were really welcoming, and when I tried to speak Spanish, it gave them all a laugh, but they appreciated my efforts!

The rooms were really clean, the kitchenette was fine because we could feed the kids when we wanted, and the restaurant downstairs served English food for them too. The evening entertainment was brilliant. My husband got up on stage with some other dads and the whole atmosphere was friendly and geared up for the children. It was lovely to go out for the evening and have a wander round, then go back to the hotel and watch our children on stage with the play leaders, singing karaoke and the usual kids stuff. There were dancers one night, a magician, and some very clever parrots!

The Spar shop was a five minute walk away, so if you ran out of water or supplies it wasn't too bad.

We have since had another baby and will take him there when we can.Thoroughly recommended.
