Review title: "Won't Be Going Back"
Travel date: June 2009
Arrived at the Picasso 14.10 hours and told we could not check in until 16.00 hours. Owner not a very happy lady but other staff OK.

Big apartments. Would not go there again. More for stag and hen parties. Also, no other English people there - full of Scots and Irish.

No one on reception at night, so people were in the pool in the early hours. Very noisy. Stay clear.

Review title: "We'll Be Back"
Travel date: March 2009
Stayed at the Picasso in March 2009. A party of six adults and one three year old child. Apartments were spotless and Truus and all staff helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make sure we all had a great time.

Food and drinks in bar were good and very reasonable. I would recommend Picasso apartments to anyone looking for a good clean base to enjoy a holiday in Benidorm.

Tony and everyone at 'The Drop Inn' just along the road in Calle Londres also showed us great hospitality and the food was excellent. We will be back as soon as we can.

Review title: "Picasso Apartments Are Excellent"
Travel date: February 2009
Before departing to Benidorm, I decided to look for reviews on the Picasso apartments and was horrified to see all the bad reviews on the place. To be honest, I was dreading going there but it was paid for and I just wanted the week off work, so off we went.

We got dropped at a bottom of a little bank as the bus couldn't get up the street - about a 30 second walk. Once at reception, met the owner (lovely lady), were given the key and were asked for 100 euro deposit (which we did know about). Reception and bar/cafe area was very clean and very homely and very cheap happy hour prices all day.

Was well impressed with the apartments, more so with the balcony as it was huge. Ideal to sun bathe as it does get a load of sun.

The apartments are ideally situated with lots of pubs and shops near by and about a two minute walk to the beach.

The only negative I can give about the Picasso is the lack of cleaning. In our week's stay, we had no cleaning or towel change. But we will definitely be going back to the Picasso on our next visit to Benidorm. so I would honestly say to all the people who come on here to read the reviews is ignore the bad ones, it is a really nice place to stay.

Review title: "Will Not Return"
Travel date: June 2007
The apartments were up a steep hill which is not good if you're coming back from a good night out or elderly. The reception is supposed to be 24 hours, however we got there at 1.30 a.m. and there was no-one on the reception. Other people staying there had told us that a couple had to go and book themselves in to a different hotel for the night. After about an hour of waiting another guest booking in found the receptionist, who was in her room asleep. We had to pay 100 euros deposit.

The pool was small, the lifts are to small to fit two people and two cases in. The receptionist was very unfriendly. I spent most of my time out of the hotel.

The actual apartment however was very big and the balcony was huge. I have booked to go back to Benidorm next year with my daughter and I won't be staying at the Picasso!

Review title: "If You're Not Too Fussy!"
Travel date: May 2007
bBooked these apartments for my husband's 50th birthday. Was surprised just how spacious these apartments are. They were clean and the kitchen was great - micro hob, fridge, freezer and a huge balcony - great for drying clothes - airer in balcony. Only complaint was only one toilet roll all week but as you are only ten minutes away from supermarket not a problem either. Stick a couple in your case. We have actually booked these apartments again for July so all in all they are fine as long as you are not too fussy.
