The three star Hotel Posada Camino de Altamira is a traditional style building located in the historic town centre of Santillana del Mar, 200 metres from the Neocueva (a reproduction of the Altamira caves) and close to the beaches of Suances, Comillas and Cóbreces.

The hotel has 18 double rooms and can accommodate 36 guests. Each room has a different colour and decor. All rooms have a bathroom, central heating, telephone and television. There are also cots and five extra folding beds available.

Facilities at the Posada Camino de Altamira include a public telephone, television room and restaurant, open to the public, as well as a dining room and a bar-café where guests can buy drinks, organic food and local products.
