The three star Laguna Hotel was built in 1964 and refurbished in 2001. It is in the resort of Canyamel, by the bay with its sandy beach and in a hilly setting.

The hotel has a total capacity for 250 guests, sleeping in 133 rooms, of which 113 are double and 20 are single. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with hair dryer, a balcony (in the double rooms), telephone and television.

Facilities at the Laguna include a lounge, lift, indoor and outdoor parking, meeting room, games room, television rooms with international channels, swimming pool that is heated in the winter, garden, terrace and children's playground. There is central heating and air conditioning in communal areas. The hotel also features a dining room, café-bar, barbecue on the terrace and a programme of evening entertainment.
