The four star Molina Lario Hotel is located in front of the cathedral of Málaga, in the commercial and cultural centre of the city, just a few metres away from the port and the Picasso museum. Inaugurated in August 2006, the hotel consists of three buildings, two of which have been completely refurbished, keeping the original 19th century façade, and the third absolutely new.

The 103 bedrooms of the Molina Lario are sound-proofed. They have a bathroom with a range of bath amenities as well as a hair dryer, magnifying mirror, bathrobe and slippers. The rooms also have a working area, temperature control with individual remote, satellite television, connection to internet with hard wire leads or wi-fi, safety deposit box, mini bar, music centre and 24 hour room service. The hotel also offers rooms for disabled guests and rooms for smokers. The most luxurious rooms, the deluxe bedrooms, junior suites and suites offer guests other additional services: two television sets and DVD player.

The hotel's six meeting rooms can accommodate up to 250 people. Each room is equipped for holding banquets, cocktail parties, conventions, work-meetings and other types of event. They are equipped with audio-visual units and wi-fi internet connection. The hotel also offers different terraces to celebrate coffee breaks and cocktail parties. There is also a business centre and a library. The 'Café de Bolsa' has direct access from Bolsa street and offers two spaces clearly defined by the central bar: the area for tapas and snacks that can be enjoyed throughout the day and which offers food served on the spot, ranging from a rib of beef to simple vegetables and the restaurant area with an 'a la carte' menu of Mediterranean specialities that varies depending on the season. A daily lunchtime menu is served from Monday to Friday. Guests can also enjoy the open air 'Central Courtyard' which serves a variety of dishes and cocktails and, in the summer months, there is live music. Other facilities the Molina Lario include a sun terrace and swimming pool, garden terrace, golf putting green and car parking.
