Loved this hotel - it was great. Nice clean rooms changed daily, also very nice and cheerful cleaners. Pool was lovely and I was never out of it during the day except on odd occasions when we went out. loved the night life - it was excellent and I really enjoyed it.

One thing! The indoor pool very rarely open. That was the only bad thing. Going back same time next year to the same hotel. Wooo! See you then Palma Nova and Voranova!

If I had read the January review, I wouldn't have gone to the Voranova, as it hasn't changed, just got worse. Water (when and if you had any) was brown. Food swimming in fat and cold. If you call someone sitting at a keyboard playing music that my Gran might listen to and I am 48, well then, I might as well go down to Magaluf and join in with the youngsters, but I felt really sorry for the families with kids. Pool cold, indoor pool only open occasionally and absolutely nothing else for them there.

The one and only good point was staff were friendly and the cleaners did try very hard as had to deal with the mess of the workmen.

This hotel does not offer the facilities as advertised. There is no kitchenette, hob, fridge/freezer etc. There are no hair dryers in the rooms, no piped music, shop, hairdresser, mini market, gym etc.

The food was appalling, virtually the same everyday. The food was cold and there is no show cooking. The all inclusive offer is a 'Lite AI' which means that the bar and snacks are not available free all day and evening. During the closure times one can still have food and snacks but it is chargeable.

Whilst we were there a guest had called a meeting with management regarding the awful food and there was uproar. Christmas Day had no gala dinner and the menu was fish fingers and sausages.

However, the Voranova hotel rooms are large, clean, beds changed midweek, towels everyday and the staff are friendly, and smartly dressed. It is a nice hotel but I would rate it as a budget hotel.

We only paid under £300 but some people had booked through a high street travel agent and paid £2500 - £3000 for a small family. So my advice is avoid this hotel until you can be sure the details are accurate. The hotel has had a revamp and all kitchenettes removed along with appliances. Didn't try the pool as it wasn't warm enough although it looked quite nice for the summer.

Ten day holiday in the Voranova (June 07) with my friends - four girls. After reading so many bad reviews abort it, we were really worried. We had an absolutely brilliant time and would definitely go back! We requested a pool view top floor room after reading a bad review referring to burglaries. There were absolutely loads of hen and stag parties using these apartments but all the more fun we say!

Bar food wasn't very nice and a few bits of jewellery went missing, but don't know if they were lost on our drunken nights out or if the cleaner were pocketing them? So just in case, don't have anything valuable lying about when you are out. But apart from that, it was a five star holiday!

Brilliant value for money. Rooms basic but fine. Pool bar staff were amazing, so pleasant and so hard working, nothing was too much trouble for them. Different story with reception - extremely unhelpful.

Could have had clean towels more often but we managed - amazing value for money.
