Review title: "Hotel Was Great But.."
Travel date: September 2007
The hotel was great apart from on two occasions we were chucked out the hotel for talking loudly but then were later allowed back but there were people next to us chucking wet toilet paper, fire extinguishers and also ripped the door frame off! They didn't even get a warning which as I thought was unfair.

Also the cleaners were a bit rude as they came into our room at 11 in morning. I said I would be ten minutes to get ready she shouted and said 'no now!' which in my opinion isn't really good customer service.

Apart from that I really enjoyed the stay at the marian Barracuda as all I did was sleep there! Beds are really comfortable.

Definitely will go back to Magaluf. Really good night life - maybe try another hotel.

Review title: "Marina Barracuda Hotel Was A Nightmare"
Travel date: May 2007
We came to stay in May 2007 for our second visit to the Marina Barracuda. We were disgusted by this hotel. Our previous visit was two years ago and we enjoyed our holiday.

This time there were families that could not use facilities at the hotel for the disgusting display by stags and hens. The food was awful and we even had mould on the Yorkshire puddings, which the chef swiftly turned over when he noticed.

There were people throwing things from the balconies including a knife, a table and the week before, a person always from the fifth floor.

Our hotel was known as the hotel 'Beruit' by all staying there. We only had any fun when we went to the sister hotel next door, whose food was better, had a kids' choice and didn't stand any trouble but our friends found it noisier than our hotel at night.

We also spent our evenings in 'Pickles' bar next door to the Barracuda where it is very welcoming. Our hotel was noisy and most nights I had to complain to reception. Many thanks to the man who did go and tell people to be quiet. I have always loved Magaluf but am not sure I would return.

Review title: "Marina Barracuda"
Travel date: March 2007
20 of us stayed at the Marina Barracuda hotel on a four day hen weekend. The hotel is well located for bars, restaurants and the beach.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin so you can hear every noise and the doors are on springs so cannot be closed quietly.

Buffet meals were OK and could usually find something to eat for everyone. Free jug of sangria and bottled water with every meal!

Staff were friendly enough. Main downside was that the only other residents in the hotel were Spanish pensioners on a week's holiday and although some of them found us to be quite entertaining, others didn't appreciate us being there. This wasn't helped by the fact that the hotel had allocated two elderly Spanish residents' rooms right in between the rooms allocated to our hen party!

Most of the daytime leisure facilities were not available and the mini golf area was full of rubble. When asked the hotel receptionist, said they could not find the tennis racquets or the golf clubs. The largest of the pools had a yellow scum floating across the top of it and had not been cleaned for some time by the looks of it. Fortunately, although the weather was great, it was still a bit too cold to go in the pool. Given it was just before the Easter break, we were surprised that there was no evidence of any maintenance work being started despite the need for it particularly in the outside grounds.

Review title: "Fantastic Place"
Travel date: August 2004
Everything about the Barracuda Hotel is good. It is excellent for families with young children as there is always something going on for children. The food in the hotel is superb. It has a buffet style restaurant and has food going on all day and the pools are excellent. You can use the hotel's pool next door and also eat in there. It is the sister hotel to the Barracuda.

The staff in the hotel are really good to talk to and are very helpful. I liked it that much I am going back in May 2006.

Review title: "Great Hotel"
Travel date: July 2004
At first sight, not to my liking but after two days thought the place was good. My son loved it. Plenty to do etc.

One pool is very small but great fun and friendly. The other pool (on the fifth floor) is very big with plenty of room and sunbeds etc but not much going on. Food was excellent
