The Papi Hotel was good value for money. Didn't pay a lot, didn't expect a lot but got value for money.

Enjoyed the bars, all pricey, especially the 'Robin Hood' 'Legends' was good value with excellent food and cheap beer. He was doing Amstel at one pound a pint whilst it was 3.50 for San Miguel at 'The Rover's' and the 'Robin Hood'.

Malgrat is a nice resort for families and couples and although there are groups about, it's not a noisy resort like Lloret.

On arrival at the hotel, it doesn't look that good. Don't worry, the reception staff checked us in smoothly and we went to our room which was spacious. We went down for dinner once settled the food is fabulous.

I can not fault this fabulous hotel. If I needed to find something wrong and it's being really picky is it is a little noisy as most of the rooms overlook either the road or the seating area around the bar and where the entertainment is but the noise usually dies down around midnight.

The Papi hotel is highly recommended. Me and my family are fussy and we found it brilliant. My little three year old had a fab time. The swimming pool is a little cold but good and clean and plenty of sun beds. It is also a two minute walk to the beach and shops.
