My husband and I and 11 year old son stayed at the Vista Blanes last summer. The apartments were clean and comfortable - even iron and board provided. The kitchenette was OK but I didn't really do a lot of cooking. We ate in the restaurant a few times, food was nice but waiters could be grumpy. Quite a few different take aways near by. Fish and chips, Chinese, pizza and a great pub a short walk away. The supermarket was also reasonably stocked.

The pool area was very clean but slippery. My son loved the water polo and even joined in the aerobic classes. He played football, pool and games put on by the staff. He also joined the Thompson Club but was the eldest there. The Thompson staff were friendly and knew all the kids' names.

We met some lovely people there and my son made lots of friends when playing in the pool(everyone British). We didn't see all of the evening entertainment but what we did see was enjoyable.

We walked five minutes to Cala'n Blanes beach - very small but clean. We were warned about jelly fish, but never saw any. The bus service was very good, clean and on time. Bus stop close by so we never used a taxi.

The water park was a bit of a disappointment, but still had a good time. Overall a great time was had by all.
