Aparthotel Altamar

Hello people. The Altamar is fab. It's been our sixth visit in these apartments. Just love the place.

One major problem is the bar staff - the manners that is. These people have worked there for as long as I can remember so no reasons for the attitude to be so rotten. People who were there on an all inclusive were treated with no importance. We are all important. If there are no holidaymakers, no jobs. People who were self catering were always served first. The all inclusive people had their drinks slapped down on the bar,then they would walk away without any communication from bar staff. We as some of the guests think its because there's no tip left. I did make it known to the rep, Jo - lovely lass. Jo and Thomas Cook are well aware of it going on and they are trying to resolve the attitude with great difficulty.

So that's how it is just now. I'll not go back to Altamar.

Puerto Rico is an amazing place! Great night life, really hot and relaxing and the hotels there are awesome!

I stayed at the Altamar Aparthotel in Puerto Rico and it was a four and a half star hotel! The rooms are spacious and cosy, top notch food, both smoking and non-smoking rooms and areas in the hotel and the entertainment was amazing!

Overall Puerto Rico is the best place on the island of Gran Canaria! If you are interested in going to Gran Canaria and you are a family, I would highly recommend going to Puerto Rico!

10/10!
