My husband and I went to this hotel for a weekend for our anniversary, which is on Valentine's Day. I thought the reception service was remarkable and very friendly. The room was immaculate as was the bathroom. The food was out of this world - you could not complain about anything. The gala evening for Valentines Night (we did not attend until later that night, as we had already organised our meal out) was really good and all the staff and waiters made you feel welcome.
I would definitely go to the Sol Magalluf Park again, but maybe not in the height of the season.

"Hotel From Hell"

The room was clean but not of the usual Sol standard. The TV was broken, no air con, and the celing fan was hanging off and appeared to be in a dangerous condition.
We had booked for two weeks but only stayed a week. The noise every night was horrendous - screaming, shouting, banging doors swearing and urinating in the corridor and lifts. It was impossible to get any sleep. There were cockroaches in the dining room and it was the norm for beer glasses to be left around the pool area.
The entertainment on a night was rubbish. The best bit of the holiday was checking out and returning home after only staying for a week.
The staff could not control the unruly situation in the hotel and when making a polite complaint, I was told 'what do you expect, this is Magaluf'. I will never use a Sol hotel again.

The Sol Magaluff Park is OK. The cleaners wake you up in the morning when you are trying to get some sleep. The food is uncooked. Nice pool. On my second night I was water bombed by somebody. It got me wet. I won't stay here again.

"Disgraceful"

We have just returned from a hen party four day holiday staying at the hotel Sol Magalluf Park. Never again will I go to this awful hotel. There were 14 of us ranging from early 20's - mid 50's. We are not a rowdy group and made no secret at the time of booking about being a hen party.
We had been travelling since 2.30 a.m. and arrived at the hotel midday the following day. We were told that our rooms would be ready at 1 p.m., so we explored the vicinity and went for lunch. Upon our return a couple of hours later some of our rooms were still not ready. The reception issued these rooms with a key so that the suitcases could be placed in there at least. However when we entered the room, the maid rudely rushed us out, rang reception who then proceeded to (impolitely) tell us that we were not to enter the room until it was ready. The rooms were not ready until the evening! This is absolutely absurd, so six of us had to share shower and toilet facilities for the first few hours! As you can imagine, after spending nearly 12 hours travelling this was not very welcoming!
We stayed half board and the food I cannot fault. There is however a dress code for dinner which the lady monitoring this seems to pick and choose who she does or does not like. If she does not like what you are wearing you will be asked to go and change and then you will have to queue up again. For example some people were allowed to walk in there with kaftans, others (always our party) were not. The waiting staff at evening meals had the worst attitude I have ever known. When taking our drinks order he would never write it down and then when we pointed out that some drinks were missing (and there was every night) he would roll his eyes and sigh!
On the second night we returned at 5 in the morning. There were four of us that were walking down the corridor in heels and it made a noise. We were not singing/laughing or anything to that effect. One guest made a complaint about us and the security guard came up. We apologised to him. The next morning at 10.30 a.m., the maid walked into the room (did not knock) woke up three of the girls, picked up the phone and shoved it into one of the girl's ears. It was reception who demanded that she wanted the girls down there in ten minutes. They went to the reception and the attitude of this lady was despicable! She said that someone had made a complaint about noise and that the girls must sign a piece of paper claiming that if they made noise again, they would be evicted. Not once did she ask for our version of the story or the fact that we had already apologised for our heels making noise. The girls signed this paperwork but I do not agree with this policy at all. I am going to take legal advise on the authenticity of this practise as you cannot enforce that anybody signs paperwork to which they have not consented to the written content (i.e. if its a statement it needs to be in the words of the person providing the signature). Once they had co-operated, apologised again and signed the paperwork, in the same condescending tone she told us that it was a three star family hotel and that we should have realised this before we booked there.
I would like to point out that we booked this hotel direct, made no secret of being a hen party and they certainly did not refuse over £3,000 of our money, did they? This is an outrage. How dare we be patronised like this. This hotel has such poor management - if they did not want a group of 14 girls they should have refused our booking from the offset instead of taking our money. I cannot stree enough how appalling all the staff were in this hotel. It's as if they took one look at a large group of girls, decided that we would be trouble and then treated us like dirt.
Would not rate this hotel one bit. I have not been to a Spanish resort for years and am sticking to Scandinavia, thank you very much!
I must thank them for providing me with the worst level of customer service that I have EVER received. I am a customer services manager myself and their staff would not last 2 minutes in my employment. DISGRACEFUL!!

I have been to the Sol Magalluf Park Hotel many times since 1991 and have had some fantastic times. It caters for the young 18-30 crowd from July to the middle of September but the rest of the year it caters for couples. The staff are absolutely fab and the food is also. From October until June this is the hotel for couples and is well located close to Palma Nova.

The Sol Magalluf Park hotel is awesome and local for all the pubs and clubs. The food was great, the staff were friendly 24/7. Not the place to go for families or the quite life. This is my third time to this hotel and cant fault it. Hey, I'm 41 and still keeping up with the rest!
Can never understand why people go here with children because after all, Magaluf means loads of drunken people with sometimes bad swearing! I'm there again on the 28th of this month and should enjoy another session.

This hotel was clean and spotless with nothing at all the matter and I am diabetic and had a fit. The people who worked there helped me with friendly faces.
