"Amazing!"

I have just stayed at the Sol Guadalupe with my 17 year old grand daughter (I am 57). It is simply the best hotel in Magaluf. I stayed in three hotels last year and although they were fine, this one is the finest.
The reception is beautiful, but then so is the bar, pool, chill-out area and lifts! The rooms are always kept spotless and the view from our room on the seventh floor overlooking the amazing pool and with sea view was fabulous. The food was so varied it was great. Trays would be a good idea.
The pool is gorgeous lit up at night, but it is freezing. I did get in a couple of times and by the time we got to the jacuzzi, we had got used to it! My grand daughter was in every day!
My favourite bar the 'Green Parrot' is two minutes away, 'Robinson Crusoe's' for a light lunch or slap up dinner is the best on the beach front. The view of the beach and sea, the waiters and bar staff are gorgeous and the chefs here are fabulous! No there are no female staff! (sorry lads), but that's why it's 'Robinson Crusoe's' and always full off lads parties as well. It is the sort of place loved by all.
I can't wait to book for 2009 at the Sol Guadalupe of course. Until last year I thought Magaluf was a teenagers' paradise, of binge drinking and acting stupid and yes, in certain parts it is but if you go to the strip after midnight what do you expect? I have now been four times and love it.
I even went to the Pirate Show for my grand daughter. I thought it would be real cheesy and it was in a way, but I loved it and it was definitely worth the money we paid for the Quarterdeck. Brilliant night. Must be done once.

"Sol Guadalupe Hotel Is Lovely"

I thought the Sol Guadalupe hotel was lovely. The room was a nice size, lovely and clean, the food was fantastic with lots of choice and it's in a brilliant location to the shops and bars, but at the same time far enough away to not get noise at night, so you get a good night's sleep. I would like to go back again at some point.

This hotel has air conditioning along with ceiling fans also which after a day on the beach is truly luxurious. The restaurant offers such a vast amount of different foods both in the morning and the evening. Believe me, we came from a four star and the Guadalupe far exceeds the four star hands down. Would not hesitate in returning to this hotel in future.

"Sol Guadalupe - Excellent Hotel"
Travel date:
August 2004
Booked into the Sol Guadalupe after checking out of the Don Juan. Spent one reluctant night in the Don Juan which was the hotel from hell. Staff at the Sol couldn't do enough for me, my husband and our two young grandchildren. We were checked into a family room which was immaculate and spacious.
The whole two week holiday was fantastic. Food superb - something for everyone. The hotel reps worked so hard to keep the kids happy during the day and the shows they put on in the evenings were so entertaining, probably better than some of the professional acts. I would recommend this hotel for families or even couples. Best hotel that we've stayed in. We are staying there again this May and can't wait.

"Sol Guadaloupe Was Excellent"

We visited Magaluf, Pete, Steve, John and Johnny L (who won the transvestite award AND Killer Darts), Tony, Dave and Dave (the Bluenoses) Colin (Buzz), Neil, Brian (who went home early), Alan the Manc and Ray (who was really from Manchester). We had a wonderful time, the pools were excellent, food was outstanding and the staff extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean and the rooms spacious and well furnished. See you next year!

It was very clean. I stay there quite a lot. I go to Magaluf 5 times a year and I always try to get this hotel.
