Well, the breakfast is OK but can make you ill. Dinner is rubbish, nearly the same every day. The swimming pools are nice but there were only two open the time I was here. The staff are alright but can have some problems with languages and that. Night staff and porters are miserable as when you're drunk they are no help and when you shake their hand they look at you like you are a piece of dirt.

My room was nice and very nice views from the seventh floor. I was in room 711. It was fun. Gets cleaned everyday. Remember to put the sign out if you don't want them to come in yet, as they will just walk in, like I learned when I was getting ready to go to dinner.

Don't have a lower lever room as they are infested with cockroaches. Not nice as I saw them every day there all over the place on the lower lever on -2 floor.

There are hidden costs in this place like the mini fridge, gym and sauna. The jacuzzi is nice and free and the indoor pool that is 1.53 metres deep all over. I can't say anything about the night time entertinment as I didn't go to it. Good luck in coming here, if you ever do.

I came back from the hotel two days ago and I just loved this place. I stayed in a renewed room with sea view. I lived with two friends of mine in a double room and still there was enough place for everyone. Our room was regularly cleaned and towels were changed daily.

Sea is a five minute walk from the hotel and we had an opportunity to rent a beach towel by the swimming pool for ten euros. I could change that towel for a new one any time I wanted without paying any money for this. I got my ten euros back when I was leaving the hotel.

The food in restaurant was variable from one day to another. I wouldn't say that there was something exotic or extraordinary, but we always had opportunity to choose meat, fish, plenty of salads, fresh vegetables and fruits, desserts.

The room was really good also because I could not hear any noise either from neighbouring room or from the outside. I'd recommend people go to Sol Antillas, not Barbados, because I've been in ‘B's and it's a little worse then ‘Ant's.

My wife and I and two friends have just spent four days in this hotel and we can highly recomend it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent with a wide choice of dishes. The facilities are endless. There is a different top caberet act most nights.

The rooms are very comfortable. This is picky but the only thing I wish was that they had was tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Everything else - fantastic.

WOW!!!! I,ve never stayed in a hotel that had such high standards!! There is not one thing I can think of that was at fault with this hotel. It really was perfect. The rooms were lovely always clean!!! We had a massive bathroom which is always a good thing!!! All the food at this hotel was outstanding - loads of choice - always something there I liked.

The staff here are very very friendly and would do anything for you. Also, you are in a great location with everything close at hand. You are about five minutes walk to the centre of Magalluf, you are situated on the beach and close to the waterparks and of cause 'Pirates'. What more could you ask for??

I'm returning to Magalluf in June 05 and wanted to stay in the Sol Barbados again but it was fully booked so I'm trying out the Sol Guadalupe this year and see if it meets the standards of the Sol Barbados. Anyone will love it here!!! Hope this helps.
