Mature couple booked with Travel Republic as price was good. However, we asked for a low floor overlooking the pool and we got the roof with fantastic views of the sea if you wanted to spend the day on the roof but our balcony was overlooking a busy main road.

Asked for upgrade but was told by a miserable chap that none available. Tried to get other accommodation but every where seemed to be booked up.

The room was very basic and have never slept on such a hard surface in my life. The beds, if you could call them that, were the worst I have ever come across.

Last but not least was don't get back after midnight as the gate from the street level gets locked and you have to use the 79 steps to get back to your roof top, hard sleeping surface. Okay if you're in your teens but very hard work if you are over 49.

Would never stay at the Lunamar again but are going back to Palma Nova next week and have booked the Portanova and living in hope.
