The two star Sa Païssa Hotel, which comprises of two separate buildings, is situated in the centre of Cala'n Porter.
The first building consists of the hotel's bar, restaurant and terrace with capacity for 250 people. In between the two buildings there is the swimming pool, terrace and poolside bar where there is nightly entertainment.
The second building is the hotel and has a capacity for 48 people in 27 rooms, which were refurbished in 1998. All the rooms in the Sa Paissa have an en-suite bath or shower and a balcony.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The room was cleaned every day; there was no shortage of towels etc. The 191 very steep steps to the beach, which was only five minutes walk away, are definitely not for the faint hearted. There is a train (if you are not willing or able to brave the steps) which comes every 45 minutes but is a little expensive but the beach, should you take the steps or train, is great and definitely worth it.
However, a small fly in the ointment of an otherwise perfect hotel and location was that the two evenings of entertainment as stated in the holiday brochure was in fact every night starting at 10 p.m. and finishing at midnight. Fabulous shows but if you wanted a peaceful evening gazing at the sunset, this would not be a place to go.
I stayed with my two and a half year old and found everything else great.
