The three star La Casa del Cofrade is the first wine cellar-hotel in La Rioja. It originated in the premises of Bodegas Vinícola Real in Albelda de Iregua village, only 15 kilometres from Logroño, the capital of La Rioja.

The hotel is a new construction stone building similar to a monastery. It is organised in to: the wine cellar situated on the ground floor, the hotel rooms on the first and second floors and lastly, in the tower there is a sitting room. La Casa del Cofrade offers the following services: accommodation in double or individual rooms, continental breakfast, wine cellar visit, explained wine tasting (prior booking), lunch and/or dinner in the wine cellar dining room only for groups prior booking and menu as agreed.

Accommodation is in 11 double and individual rooms, with the possibility of installing spare beds in some of them. Rooms have a rustic interior design, although modern at the same time. Each room has one or two beds, a television, telephone, internet connection, piped music, cocktail cabinet and a bathroom with hair dryer and welcome products. All rooms are exterior, with a balcony or window with views of the Iregua Valley and some rooms have a sloping ceiling.

Furthermore, the hotel has a breakfast room, a viewpoint in the hotel tower, a wine cellar and a dining room prepared to hold groups of 12 people at least.
