The three star Hotel Saurat is owned by the fifth generation of the family who had a guest house mentioned in a travel guide of the Pyrenees, published in London in 1885. The hotel has been rebuilt and extended, over the years, the last complete reformation being in 2003. The Saurat is situated in the village of Espot, some half a kilometre from the Espot Esqui resort.

The accommodation, at the Saurat, comprises 40 rooms, each having a full bathroom with hair dryer, and being equipped with television, a telephone and a safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the hotel, include the 'L'Avet de Sant Maurici' restaurant, a coffee/bar, a conference room, a ski store, gardens and car park.
