The four star El Petit Muntanyo Hotel opened its doors in December 2000. It is situated in the middle of the Pyrenean mountain range, in a village eight kilometres from the ski station at Boi-Taüll and half a kilometre from the village of Taüll. The hotel is located in the village of El Pla de L'Ermita.

The hotel is built in a mansion, constructed from stone, wood and slate. The El Petit Muntanyo has eleven rooms, seven double and four suites, distributed over three floors. All rooms are equipped with central heating, bathroom, satellite television, telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box, daily newspapers and room service.

The hotel has a lift, lounge with fireplace, chimney, bar, restaurant serving traditional, local cuisine, a small library, sauna, spa, garage, ski room and laundry service. Pets are permitted.
