The three star Hotel Porto Cristo is situated some 30 metres from the beach, in El Port de La Selva, at the northern end of the Costa Brava, about 20 kilometres from the French Border and 60 kilometres from Girona Airport.

The hotel is in a building of 1864, which was converted to a hotel in 1960, and has since been completely renovated. The accommodation, at the Porto Cristo, comprises 40 double rooms and ten single rooms, each having a complete bathroom with hair dryer and being equipped with air conditioning and heating, satellite television, telephone, internet access and a mini bar. Three rooms have balconies and three have a lounge.

The facilities, at the hotel, include a restaurant, television room, safety deposit boxes, and a laundry service. The hotel also has a restaurant on the sea front.
