The four star Fuerte El Rompido Hotel is an ecological hotel on the estuary of River Piedras, ten minutes from the beach. It is located in the middle of the natural park and is two minutes on foot from El Rompido, a typical fishing village. The hotel is on the golf course of the same name.

Built in an Andalucian style, the hotel offers two outdoor swimming pools, children's pool and a heated indoor swimming pool, sun terrace with sun loungers, gym, television room, mini club and a programme of entertainment.

Each bedroom at the Fuerte El Rompido is equipped with a telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box (at an extra charge), satellite television, internet connection, bathroom, hair dryer, air conditioning and central heating.
