This is an OK hotel. We upgraded, but had to pay for fridge! No iron or tea/coffee making facilities; shower over bath but had difficulty positioning shower head on stand - had to ask husband. Rooms were clean and upgraded room was spacious compared to the standard room and other upgraded room which we viewed.

Desk staff polite but certainly not friendly. Bar staff were also polite and just two would smile. Spanish hotel - most of people staying were elderly (60 and over); nice to see folks enjoying themselves.

Lots of live entertainment for old time dances e.g. waltz/tango etc; dancing for all in the evening. Good, varied hot/cold meals - catered for huge numbers so can't expect brilliance.

Hesperia Sabinal must be advertised as a three as it is certainly not a four star.

Area great for beach and quietness at this time of year it seems. Can find one or two late bars in the area - made really welcome at one of these bars. All in all good stay but did not feel 100% welcome generally at the hotel and around the area but the reason was obvious to us!

I regularly use this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great choice of food at all mealtimes. Rooms are clean and are cleaned every day to a high standard everyday. The pool area is kept lovely and always sunbeds available. A great hotel for couples and families right on the beach. Generally great all round and would highly recommend it.
