The two key Moraña Apartments are situated on the hillside some 50 metres from the beach, in Puerto del Carmen on the southern coast of Lanzarote, eight kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation, at the Moraña complex, comprises 64 one bedroom apartments, on two floors, each apartment having a bathroom, lounge/diner, a kitchenette and a balcony or terrace. The apartments are equipped with satellite television.

The facilities, at the apartments, include a swimming pool and a children's pool, a pool bar, reception and a panoramic sun terrace with hammocks. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the main resort area.

I took my husband on a surprise 50th birthday holiday to Lanzarote this year. Stayed in the Morana and we were not disappointed. Situated just across the road from the beach, even though there is a bit of a steep hill, it's an advantage as the apartments have a beautiful view of the sea.

Manuel at the pool bar was very friendly and did a tasty sausage, egg and chips if we felt peckish. Also gave the odd glass of vino on the house. We will return.

It's getting difficult to find accommodation where one can just go for an early morning walk to the beach straight from bed. I found the place! The Morana is a relaxing place!
