The four star Aparthotel Royal Orchid is situated on a cliff top with direct access to the beach at Canico de Baxia, about seven kilometres east of Funchal, on the southern coast of Madeira.

The accommodation, at the Royal Orchid, comprises 72 studios, 25 junior suites, one penthouse suite and one senior suite, each apartment having a bathroom with hair dryer, a balcony and a kitchenette, and being equipped with television, a direct dial telephone and a rental safety deposit box.
