Hotel Valldemossa

Two 19th century stone houses on a hill overlooking the valley are the origin of the four star Valldemossa Hotel. Restored respecting the original, it was finished in 2004 and has panoramic views of the valley and a view over Palma Bay from its rooms, terraces, lounges and dining room. The estate, with 70,000 square metres of traditionally cultivated olive and orange groves, is close to the Sierra de Tramuntana and the Teix and Fátima mountains. The property belonged to the former estate of the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa where Frederic Chopin and George Sand stayed and spent time walking around.

The Valldemossa has three double rooms and nine junior suites, all of them with air-conditioning and central heating, telephone, internet connection, satellite television, DVD, mini-bar, safety deposit box and bathroom with accessories. The rooms are decorated with antique furniture and works of art by Mallorcan artists. There is a private sun terrace with all the junior suites. Instead of being numbered, the rooms are identified with the names of visitors who chose to come to Mallorca to stay.

The hotel is open all year round and has air-conditioning and central heating. It is set in gardens and terraces on different levels, where guests can enjoy the sun or shelter in the shade. An outdoor swimming pool is located in the gardens, along with a bar. There is also an heated indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The hotel offers spa services with beauty treatments and massage in the guest's own room. Facilities also include a restaurant.
