The Bahamas Hotel is situated in s'Arenal, 500 metres from the beach promenade and 250 metres from the shopping centre with its restaurants, boutiques and souvenirs shops. It is just ten kilometres from the airport.
The hotel was renovated during winter 1996/97 and has 239 rooms. All rooms have a telephone, central heating, air conditioning, satellite television, safety deposit box, bathroom and balcony or terrace. Most rooms have sea views. Accommodation is available for a third person in the double rooms by installing an extra bed.
The Bahamas' facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, bar, restaurant, conference rooms, daily entertainment programme with sport competitions, table tennis, pool games, pool tables, aerobics and evening entertainment with dancing and professional folklore shows.
Board basis available at this hotel is half board or full board.

This hotel is great if you fancy walks and you plan to have activities every day. However if you are planning a relaxing holiday around the hotel and enjoying its entertainment, then this is not the one for you. The food was not good at all and I found it really hard to find anything I liked.
On a good note, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the pool is great especially as i liked having an early morning dip.
Not trying to make the hotel look bad but i think it would have to be considered as just a place to eat and sleep, not much more.
