The five star Hostal de La Gavina Hotel is situated on a private estate, between two beaches at s'Agaro on the Costa Brava on the north east coast of Spain, about 30 kilometres from Girona Airport, and 115 kilometres from Barcelona Airport.

The accommodation at the Hostal de La Gavina, which is the only five star de luxe hotel in Catalonia, comprises 56 rooms and 16 luxury suites, each having a fully equipped bathroom and balcony or terrace. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, central heating, satellite television, telephone, internet access and a mini bar.

The facilities at the hotel include three restaurants, bars, meeting rooms, and safety security boxes at reception. There is a swimming pool with private 'cabanas' and sun terraces, a gym with sauna and jacuzzi, and 'La Gavina Spa' and 'Kanebo Beauty Salon' offering many varied health and beauty treatments, baths and massages. Guests can take part in many sports, such as sailing and motor boating, sport fishing, horse riding, golf and mini golf. The hotel is open from April until October.
