The four star Tancat de Codorniu Hotel is a 19th century building situated in an enclosed three and a half acre estate, with 2,500 orange trees, about 400 metres from the beach near Alcanar, at the southern end of the Costa Dorada. The hotel is some 100 kilometres from Reus Airport and 90 kilometres south of Tarragona, on the north east coast of Spain.

The accommodation at the Tancat de Codorniu comprises only eight suites and rooms, each having a bathroom and being equipped with air-conditioning, central heating, soundproofing, satellite television, a telephone, a mini bar and a safety security box.

The facilities at the hotel include a restaurant serving breakfast and light evening meals, a swimming pool, and a children's pool. There are a number of restaurants in the area.
