The one key Caledonia campsite is situated some 900 metres from the beach in Tamarit, about eight kilometres north of Tarragona and 100 kilometres south of Barcelona, on the north east coast of Spain.

The accommodation at the Caladonia complex, apart from camping and caravanning sites, comprises a number of bungalows. There are wooden one bedroom bungalows sleeping two to four and having a lounge with two sofa beds, small kitchen, toilet and shower, and being equipped with satellite television. There are also wooden standard and luxury two bedroom bungalows, sleeping three to six adults, having the same equipment, but with a kitchen. There are a number of stone built luxury bungalows, with the same equipment but with the addition of air conditioning, and finally there are mobile homes again with the same equipment but no air conditioning.

The facilities at the Caledonia complex include a bar/restaurant, a shop, a supermarket and a laundry. There is a swimming pool, a children's play area, tennis courts, table tennis and mini golf. This is basic accommodation suitable only for the budget traveller.
