Wonderful apartments, superbly friendly staff and ideal for families and also for anyone wanting a quiet away from everything type of holiday. The Puerta del Sol apartments are close to all the amenities and a perfect starting point for golf, walks and public transport to get round the rest of the island. Less than ten minutes from the airport, so once you pick up the luggage you can be in the pool in no time at all!

We stayed at the Puerta del Sol for a week in June. These apartments are walking distance from every amenity. The time from collecting bags in the baggage hall at the airport to being poolside was only 20 minutes! A great way to start out the holiday and with no worries about getting to the return flight, it was time to relax and enjoy what the resort offered.

The complex was clean and the pools were so fresh - not a red eye from too much chlorine in sight! Plenty of good restaurants and bars to have variety every night, though we did return to 'Sean OG's' for the music on the Sunday and Thursday! This bar is in the complex. There were nice walks and the beaches were clean.

The only thing I missed were big ocean waves, though the reception staff waved at us daily! They were friendly and helpful. The complex is ideal for young children and the elderly. There is free use of a gym and free wi-fi for residents (though too hot for the gym and computers are for work!) You can avail of cheap car hire to explore the island. There is a hiring firm in the complex. I availed of the laundry in the complex which is very reasonable so arrived at the airport well rested tanned and with baggage full of clean clothes!
