Renovated in 2003, the hotel is on six floors and served by three lifts. The Poseidon offers 222 twin rooms and 20 single rooms, all with a marble bathroom with hair dryer and magnifying mirror, terrace or balcony, telephone, central heating, air-conditioning, satellite television and optional safety deposit box hire.

Facilities at the Poseidon include the 'Bitacora' bar which has entertainment stage and service to the pool, games room with internet access, swimming-pool with children's section, garden, parking and the 'Salon Azul' and 'Salon Bitacora' conference rooms for meetings, seminars or social events. The restaurant has a capacity for 350 people and has an open-buffet service and special chef's nights. All public rooms are air-conditioned. The hotel offers a programme of sports activities and entertainment everyday within the complex with mini club activities in the summer.
